The construction industry is hitting record in Kazakhstan's housing sector, Ranking.kz analytical service said.
"A maximum rate of commissioning the residential buildings - 719,000 square meters (almost a third more than last year) was reached in August," a statement said.
The area of residential buildings commissioned in Kazakhstan amounted to 719,600 square meters in August, which is by 30.5 percent more than last year. Some 3,259 apartments and 2,931 individual houses were commissioned on a turnkey basis.
The top three leaders of the housing construction are Astana, Almaty and Almaty region. The highest rate of growth was observed in East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan and Akmola regions. As of the month, 12 regions improved last year's figures.
More than a half of the housing commissioned in August was built as part of individual housing construction. By July 2015 the share of residential buildings commissioned by the public sector has doubled up to eight percent.
