Pakistan will host a meeting of parliament speakers of member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Iranian Parliament's Speaker Ali Larijani will visit Pakistan to attend the meeting. Iranian Parliament Speaker's Advisor on international issues Hossein Sheikh-ul-Islam made this statement, Fars news agency reported.
The meeting will discuss the establishment of a Parliamentary Forum of ECO member countries, Sheikh-ul-Islam said.
He said the meeting of the parliament speakers of the member countries will be held on Feb.11.
The meeting is expected to bring together representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Iran.
