The ambassadors of EU's Political and Security Committee arrived in Tbilisi on Sunday. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, this is the second visit of a similar format.
Ambassadors of the Committee will hold meetings with representatives of the executive and legislative powers, civil society, as well as with ambassadors of the EU member states accredited in the country. In addition, visit to field offices of the EU Monitoring Mission is scheduled.
The meetings will address such issues as the prospects for deepening cooperation between Georgia and the EU, stability and security in Georgia, the political situation in the country and reforms.
Ambassadors will leave Georgia on October 1.
