National Security Committee of Kazakhstan confirmed the death of the head of the Border Guard Academy, that committed suicide on Thursday, service of the Central Communications of the Republic reported.
"On January 31, 2013 in Alma-Ata, at 20.00 was found the head of the Border Guard Academy's National Security Committee (KNB) of Kazakhstan, Major General Talgat Esetov in his office with no signs of life, with a gunshot wound", - the service reported according to the NSC.
"According to a preliminary version of Esetov T.M. committed suicide, Investigative team under the direction of the military prosecutor's office is working at the scene," - said in report.
Esetov was appointed as director of the Border Guard Academy of NSC in 2009, up to this time he was head of the regional administration Ontustik (Yug) Border Service of Kazakhstan National Security Committee.
