The US-based video-sharing website Vimeo, which had been blocked in Turkey by a court late on Thursday, was accessible late on Friday, leading to confusion over whether the court decision was temporary or not, Today's Zaman reported.
Officials are not available for comment concerning this issue. The banning of the website led to deep concerns that an amendment to the law on cybercrimes recently submitted by a deputy from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) may seriously damage freedom of expression on the Internet and social media.
