Montenegro hopes that a regional company in the first half of 2022 to implement the Ionian Adriatic Pipeline (IAP) project will be established soon, State Secretary for Energy and Mining at the Ministry of Capital Investments of Montenegro Marko Perunović told Trend.
"Montenegro plans to create two energy facilities on the coast with a capacity of 50 and 150 megawatts," said Perunović.
The state secretary noted that Montenegro intends to receive about 250,000-300,000 cubic meters of gas via the Ionian Adriatic Pipeline.
"All project member countries should work together for the successful implementation of the draft," Perunović stated.
He announced that his country is also focused on the green energy transition.
"For this, Montenegro needs new stable energy projects based on the use of natural gas," Perunović said.
