The Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism recommends all hotels to suspend booking for the period of Eurovision-2012 song contest to be conducted in Baku, the Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev said on Thursday.
"First we must define our work on accommodation of guests. Tourism companies now have to organize their work correctly. We will provide necessary assistance to ensure that prices do not rise," he said.
Garayev said the high level of service at hotels depends on each one. "Although the state takes certain measures, workers who provide tourist services also must take care of raising the level of their services. Trainings should be organized for the employees of travel agencies," he said.
Improving the level is connected not only with the tourist services, the minister said. "Each of us must be hospitable," said Garayev.
