Azerbaijan, Baku, July 16 /Trend, T.Hajiyev/

There will not be single inner position in the issue of unification of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) and Musavat Party, head of the central executive office of the Musavat Party, Arif Hajili, told Trend on July 15.

"This issue was not discussed with the party's ordinary voters. Of course, the party brings together people, who think independently and make independent decisions. Probably, there will not be a single position on this issue. If these issues are discussed and real prospects of these processes are apparent, then making such decisions in the structures of the party will be possible," said Hajili.
During the event dedicated to the 21st anniversary of the establishment of APFP on July 15, the leader of Musavat Party Isa Gambar made a proposal to merge APFP and Musavat as a single party.
Hajili said that the union of parties is a very complicated process.

"Achieving such a union is very complicated issue and the challenging task is the organizational and technical standpoint and to discuss and achieve an agreement on this issue. However, the statement has been made. And all start from it. Perhaps this process will begin and will ever be implemented," said Hajili.

The representative of the Musavat Party regarded the proposal to merge as a social order.

Musavat and APFP are close to each other both from political and ideological point of view. The presence of two parties with a single idea creates two political centers, at the same time, the conditions for maneuver by certain political forces between these two political centers. In addition, in the Azerbaijani society there is a social order combining these parties. Therefore, this topic becomes urgent from time to time," said Hajili.
