President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva telephoned Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal on May 15 to congratulate them on the brilliant victory in the 56th Eurovision-2011 song contest held in the German city of Dusseldorf and wished every success to the gifted young people, Azerbaijani President's press service reported.
President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva underlined youngsters` taking the first spot among representatives from 43 countries is not only the victory of Eldar and Nigar but also the great success of the state and people of Azerbaijan.
Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal expressed deep gratitude to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva for the support, attention and care they enjoyed on the way to the victory.
