German Ambassador to Azerbaijan took the wrong position by intervening in the debate between the media of his country and Azerbaijan, deputy chairman and executive secretary of ruling 'New Azerbaijan' party Ali Ahmadov told media today.
He said that recently some German media outlets have openly taken the anti-Azerbaijani position and have distorted the processes occurring in the country.
"Some media outlets have responded to these attacks in Azerbaijan," he said. "In this regard, I think that there was no need for the German ambassador to interfere in the debate between the media of both countries. It is inappropriate and unacceptable. Unfortunately, the German diplomat supported the biased position of his country's media. He is in the process and has no right to be offended by an assessment of his actions."
