The meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will take place on Monday in Baku, the spokesman for Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev told journalists on Saturday.
He said regional issues will be discussed at the meeting.
In his words, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with ECO and intends to develop it further.
The Organisation for Economic Cooperation was founded by Iran, Pakistan and Turkey in 1985. In 1993 the organisation was granted observer status at the UN, and a year later, in the Organisation of Islamic Conference, now the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
