In January to September the production of the agrarian sector in the current prices comprised 6.8trln manats, or 5.5% up as compared to last year. The growth pace turned out 0.2 times up as compared to 2004.
As of 1 October grain harvesting made up 2.1 million tons, which is 21,200 tons, 0.9% down as compared to 2004. Major reason for drop in grain production and beans 11.6%
Cotton harvesting started in 3 September. 116,300 tons of cotton was harvested, or 30.7% more as compared similar period of 2004.
