The newly appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Hans Wilhelm Longva, will arrive in Baku in September 2006, the Norwegian embassy in Baku told Trend. The candidacy of Longva was adopted in Oslo.
At present Longva is head of the Norwegian diplomatic mission in Turkey.
The tenure of the present Ambassador, Steinar Gil expires in summer 2006, and he is expected to lave Baku in August.
