Traffic will be limited on central streets in Baku in connection with the arrival of the European Commission's president to Azerbaijan on Thursday and Friday.
Traffic will be limited on the Heydar Aliyev, Inshaatchilar, Huseyin Javid, Parliament and Neftchiler avenues, on the Yusif Safarov, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Zarifa Aliyeva, Rashid Behbudov, Bakikhanov, Istiglaliyat, Azerbaijan, Aziz Aliyev, and Pushkin streets, and around the Fizuli and Azadliq squares, from 5:00 p.m., Baku City Traffic Police Department PR Office Chief Vagif Asadov told Trend.
Police calls on drivers to use alternative routes and not to park in these areas.
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso will make an official visit to Azerbaijan on Jan. 13-14.
