Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's demand to stop implementing a project to separate education for girls and boys at universities will be fulfilled, Iranian Science and Technology Minister Kamran Daneshjou was quoted by IRNA as saying.
On July 6, Ahmadinejad demanded to immediately cease the practice of separate education for girls and boys at universities.
He earlier reported that the ministry has no plans to introduce a separate study.
Ultra-conservative forces and members of the clergy in the Islamic Republic actively oppose the decision of the president.
