Repairs of sick quarters in Gobustan jail are about to the end, Trend reports with reference to Rafail Mehtiyev, head of health office with the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan.
Mr Mehtiev said big amount has been spent to repair the quarters according to the European standards. The quarters building has been enlarged. В"Main repairs are over and the building will be put in operation in early May. It will have space enough to avoid sending convicts to other quarters subject to Main board for Court Orders ExecutionВ", - Mr Mehtiyev said.
Mr Mehtiyev also said The Health office is executing some projects on diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including tuberculosis, thus decreasing mortality among convicts.
