Revenues from mobile communications and information services in Azerbaijan have grown from January through July 2021, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
According to the committee, this showing amounted to 1.3 billion manat ($760 million), up 5.9 percent compared to the first seven months of 2020.
The committee also noted that 552.2 million manat ($324.8 million) or 42.3 percent of the revenues, accounted for the telecommunications market (mobile communication operators).
Some 74.7 percent of the total volume of communication and information services accounted for the services rendered to the population. At the same time, 80.9 percent of the income received in the sector fell to private enterprises.
