BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 7. Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will grow in 2022, Trend reports via the updated report of the Fitch Ratings agency.
According to the report, this figure will amount to 8.7 percent, up by 2.3 percent compared to the December forecast.
The report also said that a number of countries have extended controls on key commodities, which could lead to fiscal costs.
“These costs will be negligible compared to the impact of commodity prices. Monetary tightening will continue, thus slowing inflation,” added Fitch’s report.
