BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. The branch of the National Bank of Pakistan in Azerbaijan’s Baku commented on the information in the media about its liquidation, the branch told Trend.
The branch said that in recent days, information has appeared in the media that the National Bank of Pakistan announces the liquidation of the Baku branch, which is not true.
"We inform all our valued clients, internal and external shareholders that the information on the liquidation of the Baku branch of National Bank of Pakistan is not reliable. We confirm once again that the Baku branch is fully operational with all the services and products provided," the branch said.
Earlier, the media reported that the National Bank of Pakistan decided to close a branch in Baku and suspend banking operations.
