BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Revenues from information and communication services provided to the population in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic grew from January through May 2022, Trend reports citing the Nakhchivan State Statistics Committee
According to the committee, this figure amounted to over 24.7 million manat ($14.5 million), up by 3.5 percent on annual basis.
Revenues from mobile services in Nakhchivan increased by 1.6 percent in the first five months of this year compared the same period 2021, settling at 17.9 million manat ($10.5 million).
The GDP of Nakhchivan increased by 1.8 percent (up to 1.5 billion manat – $882.3 million) from January through May 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
GDP per capita in Nakhchivan amounted to 2,267 manat ($1,333) in the reporting period, which is 2.2 percent more than from January through May 2021.
