BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. Non-oil and gas revenues and current expenditures of the state budget of Azerbaijan are projected to grow in 2023, Trend reports on November 3 via the conclusion of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts on the draft state budget for next year.
According to the conclusion, these revenues and expenditures will amount to 14.4 billion manat ($8.4 billion) and 22.67 billion manat ($13.34 billion), respectively, thus growing by 5.6 percent and 12 percent on annual basis.
Non-oil and gas revenues of the state budget in 2023 will cover 63.6 percent of current budget expenditures compared to 67.5 percent of the expenditures forecasted to be covered in 2022.
According to the forecasts, in 2023, the share of current expenditures in the total volume of budget expenditures will make up 68.1 percent (against 62.7 percent in 2022).
