Over 12 percent increase in Azerbaijani water operator’s fees

The volume of fees carried out by Azersu JSC (national water operator) for services rendered for public water and sewage services, amounted to 139.9 million manat which is 12.5 percent more compared to 2012, the 2013, a Cabinet of Ministers report presented to the Azerbaijani Parliament said.

The value of services rendered to the population for the year grew by 7.8 percent according to the report. At the same time, the fee level has reached 92 percent which is 3.8 percent higher than in 2012.

In total, the water system of 1, 669,900 subscribers improved last year. Some 968.800 subscribers are provided with drinking water 24 hours a day, the report said.

The official exchange rate on March 11 is 0,7844 AZN / USD.
