Oldest Uzbek bank demonstrates stable growth of profit

Net profit of Uzpromstroybank, which is the oldest bank of Uzbekistan, has increased by 45.5 percent in January-September 2017 as compared to the same period of 2016 and reached 79.9 billion soums ($1 = 8,101.62 soums).

The bank’s assets rose by 2.3 times since early 2017 and amounted to 23.8 trillion soums at the end of the third quarter of 2017, including the loan portfolio that increased by 2.2 times to 18.8 trillion soums.

Meanwhile, own capital of the bank increased by 72.1 percent up to 1.7 trillion soums.

Uzpromstroybank was founded in 1922.

The bank’s authorized capital totals 728.8 billion soums.
