Amount of transactions on Uzbek Commodity Exchange decreases by 33%

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from September 2 to 8, 2019, amounted to 570.2 billion soums, which is 33 percent lower than the previous week’s indicator, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.

The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to 287.5 billion soums.

The volume of exchange trading on the platform for 4 trading days ((last week was the Independence Day of Uzbekistan) amounted to 478.1 billion soums.

The volume of exhibition and fair trade last week amounted to 22.9 billion soums. The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 6.6 billion soums, or 29 percent of the total amount of transactions.

Last week, transactions worth 66.2 billion soums were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement.

The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded 13.3 billion soums.

During the period under review, 648 car license plates were sold through an online auction.

The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about 3.1 billion soums.

As a result of competitive bidding, 18.5 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 52.8 percent of deals on category 2 and 28.7 percent on category 3 of license plates.
