At the moment, 935,848 people are working in Iran's industrial parks, Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Executive Director of the Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Mohsen Salehinia said, Trend reports citing the ministry.
The deputy minister noted that currently, there are 45,912 industrial and manufacturing enterprises operating in Iran's industrial parks.
Salehinia emphasized that about 1.85 billion rials (about $44.04 billion) has been invested in enterprises operating in industrial parks over recent years.
"Furthermore, 822 out of 995 enterprises in industrial parks have been put into operation during this period of time," he said.
According to the official, at present, 38,463 industrial enterprises are operating in Iran's industrial parks.
Salehinia said that 468 industrial enterprises have been restored in industrial parks since the beginning of current Iranian year (March 20, 2020), and 8,050 people have been employed.
