Kazakhstan may launch gas stove production in co-op with Uzbek manufacturer

Kazakhstan offered to open a plant for the production of gas stoves in Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region, cooperating with Artel, an Uzbek group of companies for household appliances and electronics production, Trend reports referring to the press service of the administration of Tashkent.

The mentioned issue was discussed during the meeting between the governor of Tashkent Jahongir Artikkhodzhaev and a delegation headed by governor of the Turkistan Region of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev.

The governor of Tashkent, speaking about the development and expansion of cooperation between the two regions, noted that many joint mutually beneficial projects can be implemented in the field of industry, tourism and healthcare.

In particular, he noted that the construction and commissioning of a railway line between the Turkistan region and the city of Tashkent will create an opportunity to offer tourists tours along the route Turkestan-Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara-Khiva and that, in general, there is a very significant potential for the development of tourism with both sides.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s governor noted that one of the Tashkent's great achievements is the construction of new buildings, parks, alleys and the growth of production capacities.

He also said that in the Turkistan region, as in the capital of Uzbekistan, there is a need to build massifs with a unique design and modern living conditions, organize parks and implement joint industrial projects.

In particular, he proposed to open a plant for the production of gas stoves in the Turkistan region, saying that he is aimed at cooperation with Artel in this direction and there are all conditions for this.

Kazakh governor also said that he was ready to meet with Uzbek specialists in order to borrow their experience and create a garden in the Turkistan region based on the model of landscaping, parks and alleys in Tashkent.
