Azerbaijan exported the products totaling $8.8 billion in the first half of 2021, which is by 14.6 percent more than in the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
At the same time, the share of the public sector in export reached $4.7 billion, which is about 53.56 percent of the entire export volume, private sector - $4.03 billion or 45.73 percent of the total volume.
The share of products of individuals in export reached $62.2 million or 0.71 percent of total export volume.
Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations with 171 countries in the first half of the year. Some 34,605 individuals, organizations, public entities participated in foreign trade operations, 27,737 of them accounted for individuals, 6,868 - legal entities.
Azerbaijan mainly exported crude oil, oil products, natural gas, fruits and vegetables during the reporting period.
