TEHRAN, Iran, September 28. Iran is to expand trade with Thailand via barter, said chairman of Trade Promotion Organization Alireza Peyman Pak, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
Speaking to Worawoot Pongprapapant, Thailand’s ambassador to Tehran, Peyman Pak pointed out to plans to expand trade between the two countries by forming a working group and using trade delegations.
He also said the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) could visit Thailand for reviewing possible developments regarding the trade and barter.
"Iran has been able to develop positive economic ties with its partners by using different methods that are not affected by sanctions," Peyman Pak noted.
He also pointed out that the 10th Iran-Thailand Joint Economic Committee meeting can contribute to the development of trade relations between the two sides.
