BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. Iran’s exports of oil and non-oil products from the western ports of Hormozgan Province (southern Iran), increased by 18 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, an official of Hormozgan Province Ports and Maritime Department Morteza Salari told reporters on October 15, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The official noted that more than 3.12 million tons of oil and non-oil products were exported from west ports of Hormozgan Province in 6 months.
“Of the exported goods, 1.35 million tons were non-oil products, while more than 1.77 million tons were crude oil and related products,” he added.
Salari also said that Iran's Charak, Siri, Lavan, Bandar Lengeh ports have the leading share in the export of oil and non-oil products in the west of Hormozgan Province.
