BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 11. Approximately 4.3 million tons of oil and non-oil products were exported through the west ports of Iran’s Hormozgan Province in the south of the country, from March 21, 2022 to December 11, 2022, an official of Hormozgan Province Ports and Maritime Department Morteza Salari said, Trend reports citing Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to Salari, of the exported goods, 2.03 million tons were non-oil products, while 2.26 million tons were crude oil and related products.
The official also added that more than 2.76 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded in the west ports of the province for the cabotage. This is an increase 15 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“Some 1.09 million tons of products loaded and unloaded for the purpose of cabotage were accounted for non-oil products, which is an increase of 31 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” he said.
Also, more than 1.66 million tons of crude oil and related products were loaded and unloaded for the purpose of cabotage, which is an increase of 6 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year, Salari noted.
