Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The Finnish Company "Poyri" is to prepare expert conclusion to the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan on the proposals of the foreign companies which are interested in constructing a garbage processing plant in Azerbaijan.
The proposals have been presented by the Japanese EBARA, Mitsubishi and Austrian EVN. Based on the conclusion, criteria of assessment will be prepared which will be used in selecting the company. At the preliminary stage, it is intended to construct one enterprise for the processing of domestic waste in Baku. The value of the project is preliminarily estimated at €350 mln. €50 mln. is expected to be granted by EBRD.
The Azerbaijan Investment Company is also expected to participate in the project.
