President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has been forming the government according to the Constitution since his re-election made new appointments in the leadership of the country's fuel and energy complex on Thursday, the official Turkmen source reported today.

In general in the structure of governance of fuel and energy complex former leaders remained.

Bayramgeldi Nedirov has again become Minister of Oil Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, Yagshigeldy Kakayev has been appointed chairman of the State Agency for Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan, Annaguly Deryayev - chairman of the Turkmenneft State Concern, Torah Yagshymyradov chairman of the Turkmengeology state corporation and Amanaly Gurbanov has been again appointed head of Turkmenneftegazstroy.

Geological reserves of hydrocarbon resources of Turkmenistan as of October 1, 2011 are estimated at 71.21 billion tons of equivalent hydrocarbon fuel. Most of it is in the onshore zone - more than 53 billion tons, and in the offshore - about 18.2 billion tons.

Proven natural gas reserves in Turkmenistan as of October 1, 2011 are estimated at 25.213 trillion cubic meters. Most reserves (over 70 percent) are concentrated in the Mary region - in the chain of fields including the Southern Yoloten - Osman (the new name - "Galkynysh" (Independence) and Yashlar.

According to the Oil and Gas Industry Development Program of Turkmenistan it is planned to increase annual production of natural gas to 230 billion cubic meters by 2030, most part - for exports.
