The country's economic development is a top priority for Ankara. Turkey will expand its economic borders, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said, TRT Haber TV channel reported on Nov.19.
According to the minister, today the world's economic map changes and Turkey should determine its energy borders.
Taner Yildiz also stressed that Ankara will not miss the chance for expansion of the country's economic borders.
"The energy policy pursued by Turkey is directed not only to the present of the country, but also to the future," Yildiz said.
The minister also said that Turkey will not implement economic projects that can cause damage to the environment.
