Transneft UW Service JSC wants to enter the Azerbaijani market, a source at the company told Trend.
The source noted that negotiations are underway with various local companies.
"If a profitable offer is received, we are ready to consider it," the source said.
Transneft UW Service, established in 1988, is one of the largest Russian enterprises that perform the diagnostics and repair of the crossings of main pipelines and cable communication lines through water barriers and small water courses.
The company includes 35 engineering survey parties and 15 diving stations. The average annual scope of work is 1,700 surveyed underwater crossings of main pipelines and 90 defects fixed.
