Epsilon begins exploring new field in Uzbekistan with reserves of 10 B cubic meters of gas

US Epsilon Development Company LLC has launched pilot operation of the new Bohoriston field in Uzbekistan with estimated reserves of 10 billion cubic meters of gas, Trend reports citing the company.

The company put into pilot operation exploratory well No. 1 at the new Bohoriston field on Oct. 28, 2019.

“The daily production rate of the developed part of the exploratory well is 200,000 cubic meters of gas and 20 tons of oil. Upon completion of the development of the entire thickness of the reservoir, gas production will increase to 400,000 cubic meters per day,” the company reported.

Today, the company also plans to increase gas inflow from three wells in the Eshonkuduk, Zhanubiy Tandircha and Northern Nishan fields, where hydraulic fracturing was performed.
