A total of 9 facilities on electricity supply will be launched in the East Azerbaijan Province (northwestern Iran) today November 17, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, a total of 7.32 trillion rials (about $174 million) was spent on the construction of these facilities.
“A substation with the capacity of 20/132/230 kilovolt and a small-scale power plant with the capacity to generate 25 megawatt-hours of electricity will be launched in Tabriz city,” the report said.
Furthermore, 4 power distribution platforms and 3 electric power transmission stations will be launched, the report added.
According to the report, 4.65 trillion rials (about $110 million) of the spent money was spent on the Tabriz small-scale power plant.
