As many as 6 power facilities will be launched in Yazd and Kerman provinces of Iran and 17 villages will be supplied with electricity today on Jan. 19, Trend reports citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, a total of 2.62 trillion rials (about $62.4 million) was spent on these operations.
“Two modular substations with the total capacity of 230 kilovolts, a small-scale power plant with the capacity of 6 megawatts will be launched, as well as 11 villages will be supplied with electricity in the Kerman Province (southeastern Iran). A total of 649 billion rials (about $15.5 million) has been spent in the province within electricity plans,” the report said.
In addition, three power facilities and equipment - a 10-megawatt-hour solar panel station, a 63.2-kilovolt transformer, repaired substations will be launched, as well as 6 villages will be supplied with electricity in the Yazd Province (central Iran). In general, about 1.97 trillion rials (about $46.9 million) were spent in the province within electricity plans, the report said.
