Uzbekneftegaz JSC plans to increase the daily production of liquefied gas at the plants for the production of the propane-butane mixture at the Shurtan oil and gas production department, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the 1st, 2nd and 5th stages of existing plants for the production of the propane-butane mixture are being modernized in order to increase the production of liquefied gas in the Shurtan oil and gas production department.
It is reported that modernization works will be carried out in pursuance of the resolution of the president of Uzbekistan on measures to implement the investment program of Uzbekistan for 2020-2022.
At present, together with the specialists of O’ZLITINEFTGAZ JSC and the Department of Hydrocarbon Production of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, monitoring is being carried out in order to ensure the design indicators on the 1-5 stages of the propane-butane mixture production units.
According to the results of the research of technologically processed by the specialists of O’ZLITINEFTGAZ JSC, it is planned to develop proposals. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations during operation, it is planned to increase the daily production of liquefied gas at the plants for the production of the propane-butane mixture.
It is noted that 1-5 stages of the propane-butane mixture production units in the Shurtan oil and gas production department were put into operation in 1997–2012. They are designed to process 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 257,000 tons of liquefied gas.
