Georgia’s diesel fuel imports from Turkey from January through December 2021 amounted to 368,677 tons, which is a decrease of 39.7 percent, compared to 612,181 tons in 2020, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
Turkey’s diesel fuel exports to Georgia in December 2021 alone totaled 30,000 tons, which is a decrease of 25 percent, compared to 40,011 tons over November 2021. Georgia did not import diesel fuel from Turkey in December 2020.
Meanwhile, the largest amount of Georgia’s diesel fuel imports from Turkey accounted for January 2021 (254,154 tons), while the lowest - was for July 2021 (14,832 tons).
Turkey’s total fuel exports to Georgia from January through December 2021 amounted to 15 million tons, which is a decrease of 83.8 percent, compared to 92.9 million tons over 2020.
