BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. Georgia’s diesel fuel imports from Turkey in January 2022 amounted to 80,000 tons, which is a decrease of 68.5 percent, compared to 254,154 tons over the same month of 2021, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

However, the same figure increased by 217.7 percent, compared to January 2020 (25,179 tons), and by 166.6 percent, compared to December 2021 (30,000 tons), the report said.

Turkey’s diesel exports to Georgia in 2021 totaled 368,677 tons, which is a decrease of 39.7 percent, compared to 612,181 tons in 2020.

Meanwhile, Turkey’s total fuel exports to Georgia in January 2022 amounted to 558,947 tons, which is an increase of 3 percent, compared to the same month of 2021 (542,290 tons).
