Energy Exchange of Iran reveals products on sale for April 4

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. A total of 7,700 tons of hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX), on April 4, Trend reports citing the IRENEX.

Of the mentioned volume, 6,400 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered on this floor:

- Iranian Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company’s 506 tons of liquefied gas and 200 tons of heavy distillate products;

- Kangan Petro Refining Company’s 2,000 tons of pentane plus;

- Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 3,000 tons of iso recycle;

- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 500 tons of heavy distillate;

- Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company’s 200 tons of liquid nitrogen products.

At the same time, 1,300 tons of products will be on sale on international floor of the IRENEX:

- Iranian Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 500 tons of heavy hydrocarbons and 200 tons of pentane products;

- Fannavaran Petrochemical Company’s 600 tons of methanol products.

Meanwhile, 93,000 tons of products worth 20 trillion rials (about $50 million) were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange over the last week (March 25 through March 30, 2023).

Of that, 33,000 tons worth 6.18 trillion rials (about $15.4 million) were sold on the domestic floor, while 60,000 tons worth approximately 13.9 trillion rials (about $34.5 million) on the international floor.

The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 437,778 rials, and the price of $1 is 402,000 rials.
