BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. Azerbaijan exported 30,790 tons of RON-92 gasoline from January through May 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the entire volume was exported to Türkiye.
In general, the country's RON-92 gasoline exports totaled $21.5 million, which is 13.9 percent less than in the same period of 2022.
Meanwhile, the export of RON-92 gasoline from Azerbaijan was not carried out from January through May last year.
At the same time, Azerbaijan imported 5.76 million tons of RON-92 (a decrease of 96.1 percent year-on-year) in the amount of $3.3 million (a decrease of 98 percent year-on-year) from January through May 2023.
During the reporting period, 4.872 million tons worth $2.6 million were imported from Russia, 890,020 tons worth $745,840 were imported from Turkmenistan.
Azerbaijan exported 30,750 tons of RON-92 in 2022, which is a decrease of 41.9 percent compared to 2021. In general, RON-92 was imported in the amount of $869,190, which is 12.4 percent less than in 2021.
