ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 7. Turkmenistan sold 100,000 tons of ECO-93 and RON-92 gasoline in August to foreign businessmen through its commodity and raw materials exchange, Trend reports.
Turkmenistan sold $74 million worth of gasoline to foreign entrepreneurs during this period.
In particular, Turkmenistan sold 50,000 tons of ECO-93 brand gasoline worth $37 million in August, and 50,000 tons of RON-92 brand gasoline worth $37 million.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of this year, Turkmenistan planned to begin the modernization of the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex and the Seydi Oil Refinery, which are the main producers of gasoline in the country.
Modernization was to be carried out through the construction of new technological facilities, which were supposed to bring the depth of oil refining to an indicator above 90 percent.
