Uzbek Commodity Exchange publishes last week's trading results

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from December 30, 2019 to January 5, 2020, amounted to $48,8 million, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.

The total value of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to $25,8 million.

The volume of exchange trading on the platform amounted to $44.6 million.

Export sales totaled $1.1 million. In the export structure, the share of liquefied gas amounted to 93 percent and cotton fiber to 7 percent.

The volume of exhibition and fair trade last week amounted to $1 million. The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to $555,000, or 54.3 percent of the total amount of transactions.

Last week, deals worth $2.9 million were made through a special public procurement information portal - xarid.uz.

The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded $712,000.

During the period under review, 588 car license plates were sold through an online auction. The total value of the sold state license plates amounted to more than $282,700.

According to the results of competitive bidding, 21.9 percent of completed transactions accounted for transactions by premium class' license plates, 50.2 percent - in the second category, and 27.9 percent - in the third category of license plates.
