The total value of manufactured products and services rendered in Azerbaijan made up 23.3 billion manat ($13.7 billion) in the first half of 2021, which is 1.7 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) told Trend.
According to the CBA, more than 96 percent of manufactured products and provided services fell to the share of private entrepreneurship entities, including 48 percent - to individual entrepreneurs.
At the same time, consumer spending per capita in the first half of the year amounted to 387.7 manat ($228), which is 5.5 percent more compared to the first half of 2020, the bank said.
“The continuation of the COVID-19 vaccination process in the country and the partial softening of quarantine measures have created conditions for the growth of consumer demand,” the statement said.
