The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped by 11,630 points to 1.322 million, on January 16, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 4.7 billion shares valued at $658 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
The indices of Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company (GEG), Parsian Oil and Gas Development Co., Mellat Bank, Tehran Oil Refinery, Isfahan Oil Refinery, and Tamin Petrochemical Oil and Gas Co. had the most negative impact on TSE.
The overall index of the Farabourse dropped by 112 points to 17,987.
