BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. The total value of the assets of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) increased in 2021, Trend reports via the company.

According to the company, this figure amounted to 69.3 billion manat ($40.7 billion), up by 5.2 billion manat ($3 billion) or 8.11 percent in annual terms.

Last year, the company's current assets grew by 5.68 billion manat ($3.34 billion) or 31.14 percent over the year, up to 23.94 billion manat ($14.08 billion), of which 9.01 billion manat ($5.3 billion) fell on cash and cash equivalents, while 2.83 billion manat ($1.66 billion) - on inventories.

Meanwhile, SOCAR's non-current assets equaled 45.4 billion manat ($26.7 billion), with 30.9 billion manat ($18.1 billion) accounting for fixed assets, and 5.02 billion manat ($2.95 billion) – for investments in joint ventures.
