BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. The amount of loans issued to start-up companies in Iran increased by 100 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the report of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
“In total, 1,404 start-up companies in the country received loans worth about 585 trillion rials (about $13.6 billion) in 6 months,” the report said.
Thus, Iran’s Mellat Bank issued loans worth 102 trillion rials (about $2.43 billion), Bank Tejarat Iran - 85 trillion rials (about $2.02 billion) and Eghtesad Novin Bank - 56.4 trillion rials (about $1.34 billion) in 6 months.
