BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. The Money Supply Rate (М2) in Azerbaijan amounted to 27.698 billion manat ($16.28 billion) in September 2022, up by 5.29 billion manat ($3.1 billion) or 23.62 percent against the same period of 2021 (22.407 billion manat or $13.17 billion), Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The cash money supply in circulation (M0) increased by 1.26 billion manat ($740.7 million) or 11.43 percent year over year – from 11.039 billion manat ($6.489 billion) to 12.3 billion manat ($7.2 billion).
Meanwhile, the broad money supply (M3) has risen by 7.9 billion manat ($4.6 billion) or 24.64 percent reaching 40.15 billion manat ($23.6 billion) against 32.2 billion manat ($18.9 billion) a year earlier.
The transaction money (M1) edged up by 4.45 billion manat ($2.6 billion) or 23.11 percent year over year – from 19.265 billion manat ($11.3 billion) to 23.7 billion manat ($13.9 billion).
