Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 February / Trend / Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator, Azercell Telecom, has put into operation GPRS/MMS roaming service with Australia's Optus, Tajikistan's Babilon-Mobile, Bermuda'sM3 and Hong Kong 's Hutchison operators, the company reported. This is the second GPRS/MMS roaming agreement with Australia, the first with Tajikistan and Bermuda and the sixth with Hong Kong. At present Azercell's subscribers use the services of Australia's Telstra and Hong Kong's SmarTone-Vodafone, CSL Ltd, People, HKCSL and Sunday operators.
Up to today Azercell Telecom has signed GPRS/MMS roaming agreements with 118network operators from 58countries around the world. The number of Azercell's subscribers exceeds 2.8mln.
